Something Borrowed is a romantic comedy in which absolutely no one merits to wind up happy.
Surely, two of the film’s excited masochists finish hand-in-hand at the dissolve, after a series of tricks and treacheries that would leave anybody in real world moping alone. Yet the itch is to say goodbye and good expulsion, instead of wishing the happy couple well.
